An Al-Jazeera Media Network subsidiary has kept alive its indemnification claims against former Current TV owners, including former Vice President Al Gore, for more than $100 million.

In a letter opinion issued Aug. 13 in Gore v. Al-Jazeera America Holdings I, Delaware Court of Chancery Vice Chancellor Sam Glasscock III said Al-Jazeera could seek indemnification for both actual and potential claims asserted against it even though the company failed to meet certain requirements when alerting the former Current TV owners of the claims.
