Nearly seven months after Chancellor Andre G. Bouchard’s landmark decision in In re Trulia Stockholder Litigation, the Delaware Court of Chancery last week produced its clearest ruling yet concerning a plaintiff’s application for mootness fees in the context of a disclosure-only settlement.

The result was a reduction in fees for the attorneys who litigated shareholder claims in last year’s PayPal-Xoom merger from a requested $275,000 to just $50,000.
