Potter Anderson & Corroon bankruptcy attorney Laurie Selber Silverstein is the tentative selection for a judgeship in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit announced last week.
Silverstein, who heads Potter Anderson’s bankruptcy and corporate restructuring practice, was selected from a pool of undisclosed candidates for the interim appointment. If selected for a full-time judgeship on the bankruptcy court, she will replace outgoing U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Peter J. Walsh, who is set to retire Jan. 1.
