In a moment Chancellor Andre G. Bouchard called “momentous,” Tamika Montgomery-Reeves on Dec. 11 was publicly sworn in to serve as the 38th member of the Delaware Court of Chancery, as those close to her praised the vice chancellor for her fairness and equity.

Montgomery-Reeves, with her many friends and family on hand, took the oath of office and echoed her previous public statements, saying she was humbled by the opportunity to join the nation’s pre-eminent business court.
