The Delaware Supreme Court ruled on Monday that state courts, in most instances, may not exercise general jurisdiction over a foreign corporation that does not operate or have its principal place of business in the First State.
In Genuine Parts v. Cepec, the high court was re-evaluating Delaware law in light of a 2014 U.S. Supreme Court decision, Daimler AG v. Bauman.
