While Chancellor Andre G. Bouchard’s first two years leading the Court of Chancery have been marked by considerable turnover on the bench, his tenure has also coincided with the implementation of process improvements and legislation that have combined to cause an uptick in filings.
May 5 will mark Bouchard’s two-year anniversary at the helm of Delaware’s renowned court of equity. He took over the chancellorship after former Chancellor Leo E. Strine Jr. ascended to lead the state’s high court, at a time when the Chancery Court was poised to undergo a series of administrative and personnel changes.
